This week Jim's #TJPquickHIT is The Kindergarten Teacher.

 

Now the goosebumps. When Ted sees trailers that have an emotional connection and can discuss race, wealth, friendship and identity with actors that can carry it he can't want to hear what Jimmy has to say about it. Green Book is that trailer. Then Ted added a popcorn movie with Hunter Killer but remembered that Viggo was in Ted's favorite submarine action/drama Crimson Tide so he tossed that trailer in too to see how it held up and it's pretty solid.

It feels good to be back! ...and we have new segments, new trailers and more. But first let's pop the tops on some brews. (This will be much easier when we record on Friday nights - this week's 6:30am record session wrecked our Sundays). Jimmy had a beer from his epic cross country road trip and Ted went with a local-ish beer that you'll have to listen to find out about since it's part of our twitter contest! 

Then we get into two Emma Stone trailers. One for the Netflix series, Maniac with Jonah Hill and The Favourite with Rachel Weize.

Hey Junkies, this is the last in our replays for Summer 2018.  Me and Ted had a great summer and relaxing hiatus.  As a result, we have some new segments coming up and we'll continue to drop every Thursday.  Thanks for sticking with us and we can't wait to bring you new episodes.  

Jimmy is back but now Ted is on the road this week. This was another favorite from our first season. Give it a listen.

Jimmy is now cutting across Texas so its only a week or two before we get back into the swing. Here's an early one that we liked from late in December 2017.

As Jimmy sends boomerangs from Boston we get to enjoy one our early favorites. The thought of a fart killing you for A Quiet Place is a universal theme. The Expanse is also still in the news as it goes from SYFY to Netflix. We'll be back soon.

This week Jim & Ted take on some doll love.  No not that kind of love, but dolls as therapy for an artist recovering from an attack by five men.  They also discuss Jerry Seinfeld's new to Netflix show, and finally, Creed II.  They're both Rocky fans and discuss of some of their favorite Rocky moments.  Jim also give tips on how to train for boxing, and he's not a boxer... go figure.  Here's a hint: It's discipline folks.  Enjoy it to the end for some Timmy and Mikey talk after the close.
