It's episode 44 and Jim & Ted are joined this week by Clarissa, Jim's wife, to gain her perspective on women directors.
The Trailer Junkies have a Hollywood sandwich. A fledgling production company in distribution peril as it’s founder struggles to keep fighting for female directors and a 100-year-old brand struggling to stay relevant in the horror space surround Academy Award winning stars jump into a Netflix series about aging in the lonely world of tinsel-town. #TheStruggleIsReal for everyone.

Thunder Road, Nike and Pepsi ads, and Burt Reynolds
Thursday Sep 13, 2018
Thursday Sep 13, 2018
The Trailer Junkies, Jim and Ted, have a discussion about thier favorite Burt Reynlods movies before takling the trailers for this week.
At Ted's work he used to have a marketing showcase where coworkers would bring inventive pieces of marketing to share and discuss. Nike's "Dream Crazy" is yet another feather in the Nike marketing cap as they generate around $43 million in buzz for Nike (according to Bloomberg). Since Jim and Ted spent so much time talking about it see the pepsi ad on trailerjunkiespodcast.com
Rarely does a trailer hit Ted so hard the way Thunder Road does, so we go deeper with the 2016 short it expands on.
